Integrated Solutions with Como Partnership
Como is one of the world's largest mobile loyalty companies operating in 20 countries. Como offers customer management, loyalty, marketing, and communication opportunities to businesses with its mobile application infrastructure called Como Sense.
Ioki Sushi was established in Istanbul in 2011 with the aim of presenting unique tastes from the Far East and Peru in accordance with Turkish taste. Ioki Sushi, which operates with 3 branches, received the 'Istanbul's Best Asian Cuisine' award in 2015.
Challenges
It is honestly not an easy situation for a business to agree to switch to a mobile application, loyalty system, and online ordering system through its own website at once. Moreover, the fact that food core portals dominate the market is evident.
There are many reasons why in-store loyalty companies do not take this step. The first of the basic reasons is the need for a very large operation, software development, and cost for this transformation. The second reason is the presence of large food ordering portals and the difficulty of competing with them. Doing exactly what food ordering portals do is like entering a dead end. Possible customer loss due to rapid transformations targeting outside the restaurant is another reason why loyalty firms do not turn to this area.
Goals
The main purpose of the project was for points earned online or in the restaurant to be used in both environments without any loss.
Another issue to be considered was to provide a user-friendly solution. Because the mobile application, loyalty system, and online ordering site would work integrated. Thus, members should not fill out membership forms again when they switch from one environment to another.
Solution
In November 2016, we established the Runmeal infrastructure operating at https://siparis.ioki.com.tr/ and provided integration with Como Sense. We also offered the online ordering feature within the mobile application prepared by Como for Ioki Sushi. Thus, users who become members via the mobile application or website were collected in a single pool. With the Como Sense loyalty infrastructure, in-restaurant and delivery orders also started working with a single reward point system.
Results
With the Ioki Club project developed with Como partnership, we provided the following:
- Points equal to 10% of the order amount are earned in the restaurant.
- Points equal to 15% of the order amount given from the web/mobile application are earned.
- Points earned in the restaurant and online ordering can be used both in online ordering and in the restaurant.
- More than 10,000 users who are Ioki Club members.
- Creation of a regular customer base, elimination of dependence on food ordering portals, and exit from portals.
- 100% of online orders being provided from the Ioki Sushi website and mobile application.
